What they wanted
A stone wall along the fence line that had been leaning for years and was finally letting go — stones in the yard after every heavy rain.
What we found
No footing worth the name, and no drainage. The original wall was stacked on dirt. That's why it moved.
What we did
Took the wall down to grade, set steel posts in concrete, rebuilt the stone straight and true, and added drainage so water goes around it instead of through it.
