Two chimney chases on the same property that looked wrong from the street and were letting water in at the top.
What we found
One chase stripped back to bare sheathing, the other with cladding at the end of its life. Both needed new siding and a proper cap, not another coat of paint.
What we did
Wrapped and re-clad both chases in lap siding, trimmed them out, and set new caps on top so water sheds instead of sitting. One finished white, one cream to match its elevation.
